Easy box card #100things

After a long time wanting to try this style of card I finally gave it a go. And wow what fun these are awesome to make and actually so easy I wish I tired it years back.

I used the awesome one for all stamp set, its linked below, what a great set so versatile and this particular stamp just jumped out at me so i created it over and over and fussy cut the image to create my card.

This card is so easy to make its almost embarrassing doing a tutorial but I always figure someone out there like me may think its complicated and not try it so here we are... If I can encourage just one crafter to try this card my job here is done.

I do have a basic walk trough and tutorial of the card structure on my Youtube here https://youtu.be/-ZveH8qhsMo so you can take a closer look . So grab a brew get comfy and enjoy the video. I have left measurements and products used below. Just click the photos to visit my shop.

#scrimpyscardswap number 14 from Pam Farr

I am so loving doing this challenge #scrimpyscardswap gives me so much joy. I get to meet new creators from all over the world as they share their beautiful work with me and in turn I can share with you. Then I get to send them one in return ...what a joy.

Todays card is a pure delight. Both cute and colourful and really well made. All the way from Alabama this card was created by the talented Pam Farr. Again Pam states she is fairly new to card making with basic supplies yet look how amazing her card is ... outstanding and goes to show how creative we can be.

A huge thank you to Pam for sending me a smile across the pod, I do hope I a=can do her justice when I send one in return.

You can join in my challenge by simply sending a card , my details are on the contacts page of this blog. I will showcase your work on my Youtube and share it on my blog. I will also send one in return ... #scrimpyscardswap is a great way to get sharing your cards.

Bokeh dots meets dragonfly Dreams

I recently had one of my down line and good friend Victoria round for a craft session. Fact is we got very little done. It was hot and sunny and we sat in the garden putting the world to rights and during our four hour session this card is all we managed to complete. It is a mash up of ideas from the two of us and I do love how it turned out ... although not sure it looks like four hours worth ha ha ha.

Bokeh dots fell into my shopping basket on my last spree,  a fab set with two small background stamps in. Desperate to use it I quickly stamped away but was initially disappointed with the results. After consulting a team forum I was told to not go direct to the ink pad with this stamp. Rather, it is better to use a brayer or sponge daubers. At the first attempt of this I got great results.

Keeping the colours simple we have Whisper white, Coastal cabana and basic black. The card base was also embossed with layered leaves textured embossing folder which looks amazing close up. A simple two layer dragonfly makes the card special, this was cut fro Dragonfly Dreams thinlits.

I hope you enjoy this project and will give it a try. All products are listed below and are clickable links to my shop where you can buy at your leisure.

I do have a Youtube tutorial sharing how to get the best results from the Bokeh dots stamp you will find it on yesterdays blog post by CLICKING HERE

Animal outings fun card for Stampin' for all Facebook group

How much fun is this stamp set !!!! brilliant I love it. I created this fun card especially for the lovely Ian Potter, a fellow UK demo who helps me run the facebook craft form Stampin' for all. Ian set a card case challenge or us to follow and this is what I came up with.

I love fun cards life is way to short to take things serious a little bit of silly now and then goes a long way in my book. The Animal outings is a great set with cuts fun animal image and some really great sentiments. There is a whole suite focused around this with fun Designer series paper available too.

I chose to just use the stamps on this card and stamped my own background using Shaded Spruce ink. The images are stamped in Granite grey a great outline colour. Te images were given a pop of colour using the Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils. A great artist I am not but combined with the Stampin' blender pens the pencils give a nice smooth finish.

Finally to make my centrepiece stand out a border was stamped using the swirly frames stamp set again using Shaded Spruce. What fun card to send to anyone ad for any occasion ... even just to say hello.

I hope you enjoyed this card all the products used are listed below. Feel free to come on over and find our Stampin' For All Facebook group and perhaps meet Ian and join in our challenges.

Saying bye to 2016-18 in colours with Eclectic expressions

Another amazing free stamp set from Stampin' Up! from our 2018 Sale-A-bration extravaganza. I love this one as it gives us a water colour smooshing effect in a controlled way.

I sat and created lots of cards with one of my team member ready for customers over the next few months. I made the decision to use up my HUGE stock pile of 2016-2018 in colours card stock. These colours are set to retire at the end of May and so I didn't want to have any left over. I also need to check I have re inkers for all my 2016-18 ink pads. I love them and will continue to use them and keep them in my collection, so I don't want to run out! If you have these in your crafty collection be sure and do the same. Before long these will be in short supply and then .... gone for good.

Such a pretty card and so simple to do, i created a whole heap in a short space of time. cards don't have to be complicated. Sometimes we can let them just breathe and let the colours speak for themselves.

I do hope you enjoy this card and will give it a try at home. Come join me as I create this card on my Youtube channel, share the process and some chat and fun too. Go grab a brew, get comfy and enjoy the video... don't forget to top up on those 2016-18 colour supplies, I have left links below...

14 lollipop treats from one 12 x 12 sheet

Sometimes we need a cheap quick gift and this one here is perfect. I am adding these to my customer thank you packs this month as a little extra. These could also be greater your child's class mates, or in party bags, in a crafty swap or added to a card your sending. Either way these are super simple, fast and economic to make .

I used the Tutti Frutti DSP as I wanted to show it off ...but 12 x 12 sheets are faster to make these with as you simply cut the full length into 2" strips then each strip cut to 5" .. minimal waste and fast results.

I created a quick hand cut sentiment then added a hand stamped them punched out strawberry using the super cute fruit basket bundle... stamp and punch set. I just adore teeny tiny embellishments like these as they are cute and versatile. You can do heaps with these mini punches.

I do have a fun to watch step by step Youtube tutorial for you to watch so you can craft along and create these fun treats with me. Products used are listed below. So grab ab are, get comfy and enjoy the video.
