Clean and simple Magnolia Lane card

A clean and simple card share to help inspire today using the stunning Good Morning magnolia stamp set from Stampin' Up!
Now I'm not saying I am the Grinch ...but Christmas crafting in September for me is a struggle as I'm not in the Christmas zone just yet. So I decided to revisit this beautiful set and make a batch of thank you cards. I shall return to singing we wish you a merry Christmas tomorrow …. maybe.

I love the simplicity of this set and how the large statement magnolia means with just two simple stamps on the card you have a card already. Add a little colour with light crumb cake Stampin' Blend, scatter a few pearls and we have a clean and simple card you can batch make in minutes. It is quite simply card making made easy.

I have a fast and fun YouTube video to share with you so go grab a fresh brew, get comfy and enjoy the project.

Beautiful origami notebook.

You are going to just love this little notebook. A pretty heart shape with origami pages which fold out to reveal larger heart shaped pages than the size of this notebook suggests. A pretty fun item you can dress up with ease. Let me show you how.

All you need for the pages is simple copier paper. The sheets need cutting square, I cut mine to 8 x8". Fold in half then in half the other way so you end up with a 4 x 4" folded square. At the bottom point where the fold is ...not the free end.. simply draw or die cut a hear shape. Just ensure you don't cut all the way on the joining edges you want the sheet to stay whole. Open up each sheet you now have four hearts. Fold the sheet in half the opposite way from the original fold essentially the top and bottom hears remain the same while the left and right are now folded back in half. On fold and then bring the left and right hearts in towards the centre, they will fold in so you have a heart shape once more. Simply repeat four times then glue each one back to back...add a front and back cover, ribbon and decorate as you like.
I used the new Magnolia lane DSP on mine and a sentiment from the so-ordinating Good morning Magnolia. I cant seem to put this set down. I strongly advise getting the papers along with the stamp set for great co-ordination.

Now if my instructions sound like alien to you I do have a step by step video tutorial for you to follow to make it a little easier to understand. All the lovely NEW items used are listed below, these go live June 4th .

So get comfy grab a cool drink and enjoy the video.

NEW style box and note cards tutorial.

Pretty boxes for pretty things. Today I am sharing with you a new design I came up with just something a little different. And a set of six beautiful not cards to go inside. We are using the stunning soon to be released Magnolia lane suite...I just couldn't wait to use it!
As you can see from the photo this box opens kinda gate fold style. Yet the lid and the pocket for our note cards are all in one piece. With some clever scoring, a little patience and some beautiful papers we can create a stunning box. I will show you how.

I adore the black with the pink in this paper and the soft green give that shabby vintage feel ..just perfect.

Rather than a lengthy explanation I have a full process youtube tutorial to make both the box and the six note cards. I will leave all measurements below and a list of the products I used. These items go on sale on June 4th.
