Beautiful origami notebook.

You are going to just love this little notebook. A pretty heart shape with origami pages which fold out to reveal larger heart shaped pages than the size of this notebook suggests. A pretty fun item you can dress up with ease. Let me show you how.

All you need for the pages is simple copier paper. The sheets need cutting square, I cut mine to 8 x8". Fold in half then in half the other way so you end up with a 4 x 4" folded square. At the bottom point where the fold is ...not the free end.. simply draw or die cut a hear shape. Just ensure you don't cut all the way on the joining edges you want the sheet to stay whole. Open up each sheet you now have four hearts. Fold the sheet in half the opposite way from the original fold essentially the top and bottom hears remain the same while the left and right are now folded back in half. On fold and then bring the left and right hearts in towards the centre, they will fold in so you have a heart shape once more. Simply repeat four times then glue each one back to back...add a front and back cover, ribbon and decorate as you like.
I used the new Magnolia lane DSP on mine and a sentiment from the so-ordinating Good morning Magnolia. I cant seem to put this set down. I strongly advise getting the papers along with the stamp set for great co-ordination.

Now if my instructions sound like alien to you I do have a step by step video tutorial for you to follow to make it a little easier to understand. All the lovely NEW items used are listed below, these go live June 4th .

So get comfy grab a cool drink and enjoy the video.

Happy stamping xxx Amanda

  2. I think this would also make an awesome greeting card, using only one inside folded paper and perhaps a bit of a larger square to start with..........love love love your tutorials, I am in the USA, but look forward each morning to finding a new project by Scrimping Mommy
