Team Scrimpy blog hop, Annual catalogue favourites

Here we are again blog hopping as a team. This month some of Team Scrimpy and I are showcasing our firm favourites from the NEW Stampin' Up! catalogue. My favourite HAS to be the Peony Garden suite. It truly is beautiful. From the stamps to the beautiful dies to the subtle and wonderful Designer series paper. This suite ticks all the boxes for me.

For todays Team Scrimpy hop I created a stunning stationary set and carry folder. All using Peony Garden. Today is a show and tell I will share a video tutorial and measurements on Monday.

So this pretty folder has a strap and buckle style fastener and is decorated with one of the 3d Peony flowers. I added a pretty stickpin and some hand dyed seam binding for a special touch.
we have two pockets inside holding stationary. The stationary is had created using the Prized peony stamp set.

I added envelopes custom writing paper and a notebook each page having stamped detail. In all a stunning set to create and gift.

I hope you enjoyed this project I will return Monday with a tutorial so you can create one yourself.

Please do Join the rest of my team in their blogs and see their specially made creations today.

Have an amazing weekend and ... Happy stamping xxx Amanda

Easy decorated treat pot gifts.

I love anything I can gift sweet treats or small gifts in. I love even more when its partially ready made for me so all I have to do is make it look pretty. So much quicker and easier than making EVERYTHING from scratch when you need to save time. The Sweet Cups from Stampin' Up! are an awesome pre made treat or gift holder you can just decorate and be good to go. Here is how mine turned out..

I love how these turned out. And I love that I was able to just play and decorate rather than have to make a whole project from the beginning … wow it saves so much time.

You can dress these up however you like. I chose to use the Needle point nook designer series paper on mine to give a cute floral look. Layering with velvet ribbon and tulle to make it look super pretty.
My sentiment comes from a good day and this pairs up perfectly with the Pretty labels Stamp and Punch bundle. Finished of with some tiny flowers made using the bitty blooms punch set and artisa pearls.

Fill with your gift or sweet threat and your away. These come in a set of ten and are quite reasonably prices so great to have a box or two to hand for quick gifts.

I do have a step by step tutorial for you to follow which includes instructions on creating your own template to cover the cups. So grab a fresh cuppa, get comfy and enjoy the video.

I have listed all the items used for you below if you wish to view and purchase simply click the product photos.

Petal Promenade boxed card gift set.

Yayy its the weekend.. family time and maybe some sneaky crafting time. Today I thought I would share a card gift set I created and the box I decorated to put them in. This was previously a class sheet I sent to my kit customer last year. The Petal promenade paper is so beautiful and with Mothers day coming I thought I would share.

So I created a set of four cards, a great gift so someone has a stack on hand. I also too one of the Acetate card boxes from Stampin' Up! and decorated much the same as a card front then added a belly band with sentiment and ribbon just to make it look pretty.

On these two cards I also used the Beautiful Promenade stamp set a really great set for pretty cards. I used Blushing bride and Old olive as my ink choices.
These two I was using up scraps of both paper and the pretty ruffled ribbon. I made the banner shapes with ease using the triple banner punch which ensures they are all cut at the same angle.

The box was decorated with a belly band as I said before and I literally didn't even measure this. I simply cut two strips over laid them and wrapped it around my box nipping it at the sides to find where it fit snug. The sentiment comes from Floral frames and the punch is the pretty labels set. All the cards are simple c6 size so they fit nicely in the acetate box. The complete set makes a great gift.

I hope you enjoyed tis project don't forget to leave a comment to be added to todays blog candy draw ... have an outstanding weekend.
