Simple ink technique with Winter woods

Some inky messy fun today with this cool technique. Great fun and so simple anyone can give this a try. I do love the new Winter Woods stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Its a fantastically versatile set and with the great signature red rubber you will see all the detail in those tree branches clear as day.

Fun inky block technique with Beautiful Peacock

Sometimes we just have to get messy, inky fingers are a sure sign of a great creative day. I have been

playing with what I call the " inky block technique" No idea of the actual term for it...this is my version and I love it. It gives a great multi tonal almost the dye effect to your stamped images.

So I basically used acrylic block E and added Melon mambo and Bermuda bay direct to the block, ensuring the colours overlap. then simply use this as your ink pad. Simple

I used the beautiful peacock stamp which is a 2018 Sale-A-Bration free set. And wow what a stunning stamp, the possible;cities are endless with this set.

I couldn't resist adding a little sparkle to my peacock by adding lots of rhinestones to catch the light and reflect back the stunning colours.
