It starts with art share and a little story ....

I have to say I just adore this quirky suite of craft theme items from Stampin' Up! how stinking cute are these I couldn't wait to get busy with this set and created a card right away.

I have been a crafter just about all my life I remember as a small girl making furniture from boxes for my Sindy dolls. Later in life when I got my first home I made curtains from old bed covers BY HAND .. ha ha like I sewed the whole things by hand. And you know what I loved every second because I just love to create. Over the years I have done cross stitch, home décor, tutus for little girls, hair bands and bows... then I found shabby chic fabric crafting and played with lace for around four years. I also ran a successful lace shop selling to crafters like myself. Well, then I found Stampin' Up! and the rest as they say is history...

If you are creative you too will just love this set. I made a quick and easy card to send to one of my new ladies. I get a tad over excited when a new lady joins my team I run around the house holding my phone yelling I GOT A NEW LADY .. my family are used to me now three years on. But I get as excited now as when my first lady Melissa joined me just two weeks after I joined myself.

I do send small welcome packs to my new ladies...and I say ladies as we haven't snagged the elusive male stamper yet ..but we will. Anyhow, these are not huge gifts just a little something to say welcome and I appreciate you. I get joy out of creating these myself and making a hand made card to go inside.

I don't have a tutorial on these projects as I created these for fun and for my team but I hope this share will inspire you and help your creativity flow.

Stunning fabric gift bags, craft fair idea.

When paper and fabric come together to make a beautiful project I am in my element. I love creating with fabric and these small cloth bags ae awesome to work with.

The Sanat's bags from Stampin' Up! are a great new and versatile product. You can stamp on them with our inks, you can paint them with our new shimmer paints possibilities are endless. Just do this on that the inks are not all colour safe so these are purely decorative...one couldn't keep ones swimming things in them for example !!..

I decorated mine with paper, ribbon, stamping , die cuts and some paper flowers I had in my stash for about six years. See crafters never throw anything out as we just know it will come in handy and these sure did.

I used our beautiful new shimmer paint to add a frosted look to the green sprigs to the left of the bag. It doesn't show well on the picture but this paint is amazing.
