Video review for Most Wonderful Time of the Year Product Medley, Stampin' Up!

Simple layering for cardmaking with Feels like Frost paper.

Sometimes we have the joy of being able to buy the most amazing papers for our card making. The latest addition to my collection is the most beautiful paper which makes wow cards in an instant. Feels like Frost from Stampin' Up! is a winter themed photographic style paper. I have shared it before but I am here again to share its beauty.

The paper does all the work all I needed was simple layering, co-ordinating card stock and ink and a small sentiment taken from Gleaming Christmas stamp set.

I created the card following a sketch created by the fab Ian Potter who created this for our weekly sketch challenge at Stampin' For all facebook group. A group aimed to help and inspire paper crafters, or indeed any crafter of any kind. You can find us here  along with the sketch I used to make this card should you wish to try it…. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Stampinforall/ why not come join us?

I hope you love this card as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Haver a fantastic day and happy stamping xxx Amanda

Floating window with Gleaming Ornaments Christmas card.

Ok so here is the thing...I am slightly obsessed the the Brightly Gleaming DSP from Stampin' Up! It is pure luxury with its rich colours and copper foil detail, it helps you create the most beautiful cards.

Add this to the co-ordinating Christmas Gleaming stamp set and Gleaming ornaments punch duo and you really can create stunning seasonal cards. I love how the punches fit the stamped images perfectly and how they give that clean crisp sound as you punch them out. As sign of great quality and a truly satisfying sound. I am a punch lover and so do like to collect them ...and admire them all stood in a row .

A very special looking card with its acetate floating window, and yet so easy to create. I have a full step by step tutorial for you to watch so you can create this for yourself.

So grab a warm cuppa, snuggle up in a chair and watch the video.

Textured, elegant Christmas card idea

As promised on my last Youtube video I am starting some Christmas crafting. It pains me ever so slightly since its ... SEPTEMBER ha ha ha ha . However lots of creators like to start early and so here is my first project to inspire your Autumn/ Winter and Christmas crafting.

I do believe that the Feels like Frost paper band new to us from Stamping' Up! does what it says on the tin. The stunning photographic images make you feel all frosty and wintery and are totally believable making you feel you could easily be there.

You really don't need much to compliment this paper, simply cut to size adhere to your card base and stare at it ...it is beautiful. A simple sentiment is all you need, here we have one taken from First Frost a carry over from last year found in our Annual catalogue. I stamped the sentiment in basic grey on to vellum so none of the beautiful paper was completely covered. We can still see it beneath the soft vellum.

To add sparkle and beautiful texture to the card I used the brand new Ice Stamping' Glitter. A chunky glitter almost like large sugar crystals which capture the light beautifully and add a wintery ice like texture to your images. It is truly beautiful.

I do have a step by step tutorial on my Youtube for you to follow and I do hope you will re create this card for yourself. I will list the products used below to make life a tad easier for you should you wish to add any to your seasonal crafty supplies.

Grab yourself a warm cuppa, get snuggly and warm and watch the video.

have a great weekend and happy stamping xxx Amanda
