Todays post is a fantastic fun card created specifically for a Pootles team blog hop. We are all using new products from the brand new Spring/ Summer catalogue to help show off the new products.
I used the Picture party DSP a fun 6x6 pack with bright bold colours. Each sheet is double sided one is patterned the other has a fun photographic style print on. The colours in the DSP are berry burst, lemon lime twist, bermuda bay and peekaboo peach.
I created my card front really simply by layering one of the photographic pieces and decorating with party blowers fussy cut from another piece. These are layered on white card first then fussy cut. I mounted them on dimentionals to make them stand proud.I also used the co-ordinating card stock available so you have perfectly matching colours for your card bases and layering.
The stamp used is the picture paerfet stamp set which has a huge variety of great photopolymer stamps. I used just one sentiment and a stamp representing confetti for the front stamped on punched circles and mounted with dimentionals.
A second of the stamps was used for the internal sentiment and I simply used scraps from creating my card front to decorate inside. The over all size of my card is 51/2" x 5 1/2".
Over all a great fun funky bright card ... one of my favourite papers because of the great colours.
