As I was the newbie of the group I got to choose the sketch . I drew one by had and then realised it was quite hard to interpret, but I'm sure all the ladies will have done an amazing job. I did mine in shades of pink finished with Rose red. I just adore how it turned out . I used Awesomely artistic stamp set and Timeless texture . I also used the fantastically simple yet effective petite petals stamp set and punch . I started with a 5 1/2 x 4" card base and layered with a distressed edged piece in blushing bride, topped with whisper white which i then created m,y made on.
Im totally loving inked back grounds at the moment and experimenting with blending different shades to build up a fantastic look just using the Stampin' Up! sponges and a non stick mat. Im sure you will agree the combination of the inking with the stamping and then the 3d flowers create a lovely card.
Colours used were, Pink Pirouette, Blushing bride, Rose red and a touch of Rich Razzleberry card stock in the flowers. I used pear pizzaz and Garden green markers to colour the leaves of the flourish. To add a touch of sparkle Wink of stella and adhesive pears were added to each flower. Hope you enjoy the card and the blog hop.
