Happy Tuesday ...
Yes Im here again wow twice in the same week aren't I getting good....
Today I am here to show you some work produced by one of my lovely Scrimpy ladies who is also one of my regular Stampin' Up! customers. Elaine Spencer very kindly gave me permission to share her lovely work on my blog ...and before we continue if anyone else wants to share their work here just give me a nod. There is nothing better in my opinion than sharing, sharing is caring. We can all inspire and none of us are ever past learning something new or having that tiny seed of inspiration planted in our heads.
Elaine has made a start on her Christmas cards and has used the very popular cookie cutter bundle. This consists of a stamp set and matching punch and it a great success this Autumn I am seeing this being used everywhere I look.
As you can see Elaine has used the reindeer stamp from the set and highlighted one as Rudolph by giving him a red nose. She has used the Candy cane lane DSP as a background to her fantastic card the candy canes on the DSP just add to the seasonal feel. Im guessing she has used crumb cake ink to stamp with and onto a kraft coloured card. In all I'm sure you will agree a fantastically Christmassy card and co-ordinated so easily with the Stampin' Up! products used.
I really am learning lots from watching how others make their cards but still I feel the real knack evades me but we can't be good at everything .... although I'm so stubborn I will die trying !
The sun is out today and the air is warm and muggy but hey its good, the longer it stays warm the longer I can leave the heating off. I refuse to switch it on before the second week in October even if we have an arctic front.
I hope you have a fantastic day whatever your doing and remember if you wish to contribute to this blog just shoot me a message below or contact me on one the other seven billion contacts on social media I seem to have acquired ... no getting away from the CIA for me they can track all my life just on Facebook !!!!
Bye for now xx A
Lovely catch up Amanda and some beautiful work from Elaine. I wonder if it's a Yorkshire thing because I won't put heating on until mid October or longer if its mild... I say get a jumper on, probably doesn't help that my hot flushes are still quite strong so I'm always hot lol x take care x
