From paper bag to gift set full tutorial.

I love to re purpose things, and I love shabby chic. Today we get to do both re purposing a plain old used paper bag to create a fabulous gift set and card.

So here our plain old paper bag gets a new lease of life. It is beautifully transformed with Bird Ballad DSP from Stampin' Up! and contains pretty tags and a stunning hand made card.

The card is so fast and easy to make you will be astounded. I used the ready made magnolia lane memories and more cards … crafting really doesn't get any easier these are pre cut and pre scored and have matching envelopes ..hurray !!

I have a fun and informal off the cuff tutorial for you to follow so you can make one of these yourself. They really are fun to make why not give it a try ?

Shabby Chic tags Stampin' Up! style.

When my two passions come together I am the happiest crafter ever. Shabby Chic and Stampin' Up! weren't always two and the same...but this year is different. Our new 2019-2020 catalogue has sooooo much shabby chic style goodies I am in utter heaven. An easy item to try if your not used to the style are tags like the ones I created.

Now Shabby chic is open to interpretation. I adapt it to my own style where I love subtle colours, floral or nature scenes, cursive scrips, inking, the odd bow and essential for me .... some lace ! It has to have lace somewhere. That's how I interpret the style and I love having fun with it.

I used a variety of Stampin' Up! new products here including the Bird Ballad DSP, Scripty embossing folder and the stunning Well written framelits. Combining these with items in my hoard and essentially using up my ever expanding scraps pile I came up with two pretty decorative tags.

These are great to add to gifts, journals, crafty swaps … for something extra pretty.

I do have a full step by step tutorial with hints and tips on how I go about creating my tags. So why not grab a warm brew, get comfy and enjoy the video. I will leave links to all the products I used today everything is available in my online shop 24/7.
