Stampin for all colour inspiration challenge.

Happy Saturday everyone hope your having a relaxing and cooler weekend. Today I am just re sharing really … the weekly colour inspiration challenge from Stampin for all.

Every Wednesday on Stampin for all facebook group I post a colour inspiration. Sometimes we all need a little sprinkle of help and colours are often what many struggle with. I suggest you keep it simple work with just three colours and white card. That ways the creativity flows easier. So what are you waiting for go grab three colours and get creating.

Stampin for all colour challenge.

A bright and funky colour challenge this week for the members of Stampin' For all. I can fall into a trap of selecting muted colours so sometimes I try to really step outside my comfort zone. These colours are found in the NEW Perennial Essence DSP ( papers) .

Stunning in colour card for Inspire Creat Challenges #046

Todays creation is for the Inspire Create Challenges # the theme being to use all the stunning new in colours from Stampin' Up!.

My card was directly inspired by a swap I received at Stampin' Up! On Stage in April from the fantastic Martin Stone aka Martin Mayhem. A fabulous creator and fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator. His card has sat on my desk since April waiting for a chance to CASE it.. and here we are.

I simply followed Martins lead and punched various size circles in all the in colours and arranged in a fairly random..yet planned pattern. Adding a statement sentiment in white so it stands out and a smaller one to the bottom right in the stunning Pretty peacock to balance out the white space.

Floral Essence colour challenge card

Wednesday is colour challenge day over on my Facebook forum Stampin' For All. Todays colours are Granny apple green, Mango Melody and Melon mambo. I was feeling summery due to our amazing weather and so felt bright and bold was the call of the day. Here is what I created to inspire you with the colours chosen.

A lovely bright floral card and using the principle of simple stamping. No special techniques just stamp and go. Super easy.

I used the up coming new stamp set Floral essence due out on June 4th. I had no idea where I was going with this card but I think it turned out pretty cool.

cut white card base to 11 3/4 x 4 1/8' score at 5 7/8' fold to form card or 29.8 x 10.5cm scored at 14.9cm.
Cut melon mambo layer to 5 3/4 x 3 7/8' or 14.6cm x 9.8cm
Stamping layer cut to 5 1/2 x 3 5/8' or 14cm x 9.2cm
