Luxury double fronted fancy fold card.

Sometimes we need a card where effort and supplies can not be spared, where luxury is needed. I had several such cards to create for special people this week and so came up with this lovely layered card design with a double card front and beautiful seam binding closure.

I love everything about this card. It is well made, sturdy, functional, beautifully coloured and easy to make with just enough wow factor to make it look complicated... but it isn't. The luxury is just in layering so long as you measure carefully the rest is easy.

A double fronted card meaning the small front section is ALSO a card to write in or share a message. Opening fully to reveal the larger inside layer. With beautiful papers and a seam binding closure the recipient of this card will be amazed, overwhelmed and think you are super clever !

So let me show you how this is made. I have a full process YouTube video to follow AND I will leave all the measurements below.. what could be easier?

If you love the products I used as much as I do you will find links below simply click the photos to visit my online store, compile you shopping list and get creating.

I do hope you will give this card a try, if you do please do tag me #scrimpingmommy so I can give you a big whoot whoot !!

Happy stamping xxx Amanda

  2. Pleasant afternoon. What a beautiful card, I love colour scheme. I live in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies and we use larger cards, like a 5 x 7 or 5 and one half by 7 and one half. I wish I could get the measurement for those sizes. Keep up the good work. Looking forward seeing more of your videos
