Textured, elegant Christmas card idea

As promised on my last Youtube video I am starting some Christmas crafting. It pains me ever so slightly since its ... SEPTEMBER ha ha ha ha . However lots of creators like to start early and so here is my first project to inspire your Autumn/ Winter and Christmas crafting.

I do believe that the Feels like Frost paper band new to us from Stamping' Up! does what it says on the tin. The stunning photographic images make you feel all frosty and wintery and are totally believable making you feel you could easily be there.

You really don't need much to compliment this paper, simply cut to size adhere to your card base and stare at it ...it is beautiful. A simple sentiment is all you need, here we have one taken from First Frost a carry over from last year found in our Annual catalogue. I stamped the sentiment in basic grey on to vellum so none of the beautiful paper was completely covered. We can still see it beneath the soft vellum.

To add sparkle and beautiful texture to the card I used the brand new Ice Stamping' Glitter. A chunky glitter almost like large sugar crystals which capture the light beautifully and add a wintery ice like texture to your images. It is truly beautiful.

I do have a step by step tutorial on my Youtube for you to follow and I do hope you will re create this card for yourself. I will list the products used below to make life a tad easier for you should you wish to add any to your seasonal crafty supplies.

Grab yourself a warm cuppa, get snuggly and warm and watch the video.

have a great weekend and happy stamping xxx Amanda
