Simple cards don't have to be plain looking,. Today's card is super simple in concept and in construction but it looks luxurious. The work is all done by the Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies from Stampin' Up!.. Long names to remember but the are so worth looking up let me tell show you ….
Now there are no measurements or deep instructions here it is THAT easy. All we have is a standard size tent fold card. So half an A4 sheet of card folded in half. I did uses thick Whisper White so the card was sturdy. Then simply cut out some of the beautiful dies with the die near the edge of your card stock. You need approx 6" in length. To layer like I have leave a good 2" of card stock ABOVE where you cut so that when the next layer is over it the colour of the layer below shows through the cuts... So leave 2" for this to work.
I glued my cuts together layering so the points of the die intertwined with the dip in the ope below. After they were dry I decided how wide I wanted it and ensuring the pattern was centralised trimmed each side to fit. Added a soft floaty ribbon, this is variegated Stampin' Up! ribbon, and some of the stunning Pink crystal gems to make it super luxurious ...yet these steps are not technical anyone can do this.
You can add absolutely any sentiment you like depending on who you are sending your card to. I picked this one from the Petal Pallet stamp set as I thought the font was perfect.
So even cards made with dies can be a simple as just stamping and WOW what a result I think this is just beautiful what do you think ?
