Happiness Blooms Onstage presentations November 2018.

This year at Onstage Birmingham November 2018 I had the honour of sharing the Happiness blooms suite with the Uk attendees. The suite was inspired by Swedish design which we can see in the bold patterns and strong colours...think Boden or early Ikea, this style is super on trend Stampin' Up! are never far wrong we often see similar designs in the high street and this is no coincidence, they do their homework. The suite as you will see is very floral and this is because Stampin' Up! have found that floral designs are popular and sell extremely well. The suite has been carefully designed to appeal to all levels of crafter, so it will suit beginner crafters, casual and avid.

The entire suite spreads over two pages in our new Spring Summer catalogue due for release on the 3rd of January 2019 pg 24 -26.

The suite comprises DSP and co-ordinating card stock, Stamp and punch bundle, Ribbon, enamel dots, Memories and more cards, Pre cut card bases and matching envelopes and a stunning embossing folder.

The main features of the Stamp set are that it is a two step stamp and has images to co-ordinate with the mini punches. The benefit here being you can create striking two step images and add stamped, punched layers to your creation. You will also note there are no sentiments with this stamp, making it ultra versatile as we are not confined to a certain occasion or celebration.

The DSP features are its bold bright patters and the benefit here being it is versatile and interchangeable.

The memories and more cards are awesome their feature is they co-ordinate beautifully with everything in the suite and their benefit is HUGE. Memories and more open up more opportunities for crafters we have memory keeping, home decor, packaging and most importantly ...these give a great opportunity for those beginner crafter. With their pre made card fronts, embellishments and sentiment stickers, pre made card bases and envelopes these are a budget friendly entry into card making as a new hobby for the beginner crafter.

The features of the mini punch are that it does co-ordinate with the stamp but for me the main benefit is these can be used alone to create pretty embellishments such as on this sample.

As part of my presentation I created samples aimed at the beginner, the casual and the avid crafter showing the complete versatility of the suite. I love we don't need a big shot here, the suite has no thinlits this also makes it a lower price point as we have punches instead....and who doesn't love punches !!!

In addition we were asked to create a " love it all ' project to allow our creativity to shine through and thus show what made us love the suite. For me I mainly love the colours. The main colours here are night of Navy and lovely lipstick and colours I may not other wise have thought to put together. I created this banner as my " love it all " project as again I wanted it to be simple and something anyone could make. I did want to show how we can use the punched to create cute flower embellishments and I do know I will use these the most from the suite.

Thanks so much for taking time to come over today I do hope you have gained some insight and inspiration into the Happiness Blooms suite.

Happy stamping xxx Amanda

  1. I, too love this suite! What appealed to me was the Scandinavian look. Reminds me of Finnish Marimekko designs.
