Embossed, watercolored birthday blooms retirement list feature day 2

I love the effect we can achieve with water colouring, it adds an artistic flair to our cards even if we aren't particularly artistic. I love how this card turned out, although getting a great photo seemed to escape me on this one. Copper embossing powder was used for the outline on this stunning Birthday blooms flower, this made water colouring simple as the embossed lines act as a shield so its easy to stay inside the lines.

The Birthday blooms is an all time favourite of mine. Sadly, we will loose this stamp set in June as it retires. Elegant eggplant and Wisteria wonder card stock will also leave us, as indeed will the inks, and so its time to stock up if these are favourites.

I never tire of heat embossing it adds such a wonderful effect to a project while being a wonderment to watch as it melts and sets. If you have never tried heat embossing I strongly suggest you give it a try,  you will soon be hooked.

If you would like to recreate this pretty card you can follow my step by step tutorial over on my YouTube channel. All the measurements and products used are listed below.

So, grab a brew, get comfy and enjoy the video...

Happy stamping xxx Amanda
