I just love things which are more than they first appear. This design is nothing new it has been around for a long time...so Im not trying to tech you anything new her. But what I wanted to show you is how you can change up designs and make them have a wow factor depending on your choice of papers.
Here I chose the stunning year of cheer DSP. This paper is so luxurious with its beautiful reflective foiled patterns you can fail to create something wonderful with it.
This little box is such fun and so easy to make. The two compartments can be used to hold sweet treats, jewellery , tea lights, wax melts ... the possibilities are end less. I cut my costs slightly on this project by using the white card that comes in with DSP packs and it makes for a really sturdy box.
The decorative bow on the top just adds a little extra wow. You could also add a small hand made gift tag which would look even more super. I would recount the Merry labels stamp set and co ordinating punch set which you can find here MERRY LITTLE LABEL BUNDLE

I saw your post on the FB Demo site and had to come look. I love boxes and remember making one of these years and years ago with 3 drawers. Mine wasn't as sturdy and probably got squished in a pile somewhere. Great idea to use the heavy paper from the DSP packs. I don't throw such things away either. Now I can actually use a few of them--just in time for the holidays and a couple of retirements. Thanks for the great tutorial. Loved the bow with the envelope punch board, too. And, isn't that paper pack lovely?????
