A little bit of sharing goes a long way...

Todays blog is a little different. I have no project to share. Rather I want to share something far more inspiring. Being part of crafty communities.

Along with several of my long term ...and probably long suffering friends I help run several Facebook groups. The whole idea of these is to share. As my tag line on my blog header states I want to .." share creativity and inspiration" I get heaps of inspiration from the amazing members of these groups. We share fun and giggles along the way too.

So let me introduce you to the groups each has a click able header or link so you can simply click and then ask to join... why not enjoy what others create and share your work too ? I have always said in all my years on social media including YouTube..that most talent goes unseen. Mums and dads, grans and granddads busily beavering away at their crafts at home and we never get to see what they do. So come along and share your creations I have several groups spanning different topics.

Stampin for all is a Stampin' Up! focused group. We share our love of Stampin' Up! sharing our creations demos and crafters alike with no aim to sell or promote but just to share. We also set a weekly theme to follow if desired you can join and then I share it on my blog on Sundays. A thriving and friendly group full of amazing creators.

The perpetual Christmas card club... as the name suggests was set up to encourage everyone to create Christmas cards all year round and not get " caught short" come December. Again we set a weekly theme just in case anyone needs a mojo lift. This group is for anyone and ANY supplies can be used. Scrimpy's community and swap group is one of my longest running groups. It grew from my love of lace and fabric crafting and originally was for ladies to just show their shabby chic creations. We now have blossomed into a swap group too. So here we set events with a theme and whom ever joins is given a partner, they create something and then swap. It is great fun and there are some amazing hidden gems of talent in this group

So as you can see I like to keep busy in the crafting community. I just love encouraging others to share .... we can all learn something from the work of others. A great idea to follow or a spark of inspiration to help you formulate your own. Also a great place to socialise and meet other crafty people. So come along we would love o meet you ...
