easy Carols of Christmas card...

Happy Monday everyone hope you had an amazing weekend. We had a family graduation party which was great fun and I got to meet my daughters boyfriend's family ..ALL OF THEM ...at the same time !! awwkwarddd ..Ha ha ha aww if was amazing and everyone had a brilliant time.

So this mornings project is not designed to showcase a fancy fold or ground breaking technique. I designed this card specifically to shop off the corner dies which come in the Carols of christmas set. I also wanted to show how amazing the stamps are and how they are enough for a card without needing anything else...I call these statement stamps. So if you want fast yet effective cards with limited supplies with a bit of o wow factor this is the perfect set.

The card is a standard Uk card base size which is at around 5 3/4 x 4" and the real red layer was cut to 5 1/2 x 3 3/4" then. The sentiment was cut using layered ovals but you can hand cut a rectangle id you don't have these dies. The edge of the oval is inked in Emerals envy to help make it stand out , this negates the need for yet another layer of card beneath and thus saving on supplies , this is a trick i often use.

There is a step by step tutorial on my YouTube for you to watch so grab a brew... get comfy and watch the show... happy stamping xxxx Amanda
