Todays card was initially inspired be another demo named Kate Bolt who I saw do a similar background using sponge brayers. Hugely inspired I wanted to have a play but didn't have the brayers... so I improvised and used my Stampin' Up! sponges. Using a die cut from the delicate dragonfly thinlits I set about layering Mint macaron and Bermuda bay ink using my die as a stencil. I then layered over using the Dragonfly details stamp set and using my Bermuda bay ombre ink pad to give a graduated effect.
I then decided hey lets not waste the stencil and adhered it to the card after dabbing Temtping turquoise on the wing tips. Finishing with a sentiment from the set and matting on Mint macaron glitter paper and a very vanilla card base, the card was complete. I absolutely loved this technique and will be using it time and time again .

Just watched and enjoyed your tutorial on dragonfly using the Sell-a-Bration's glitter paper. Have a suggestion, if I may, why not cut the center of the glitter paper out since no one will see it anyway? You could save a 5" X 3 3/4" piece of the glitter paper for another card. Seems a waste under all that card. What do you think?
