I do love playing with ink, getting everywhere and just crafting for the fun of it . Thats what i was doing when I picked up this stamp set. It was a rainy Sunday and i had fed my family and had a few hours to myself. I started playing with this set layering the colours and found it created a fantastic effect. So i kept going and soon created a bundle of pretty cards. My original ones I turned into notecards by adding an inner for writing on. Made simply from the paper I put in my printer. I used different colours as the day before had received my latest order full of card stock bundles so wanted to test a bit of each.
Stampin' Up! have four main colour groupings Brights, Regals, Subtles and Neutrals. They also have in Colours which are changed up ever few year and each in colour grouping has their date attached. The idea of grouping is to help you match up your colours easily and also if you struggle you just know colours in the same grouping will co ordinate. Thats one of the benefits of buying Stampin' Up! all the guess work has been done for you, the colours of the card and ink are the same and the same colours again are found in the DSP. So no buying things from different places getting home and they don't match.
I think these turned out really lovely and would make a lovely set for mothers day perhaps placed in a hand made box. The possibilities are endless as this stamp set can be used in so many ways . I created six totally different cards in a short space of time and there are an infinite amount of other ideas that can be used.
There is a Youtube video to accompany this post which shows how the card was created and measurements are below. if you would like to purchase this set click my shop link to the right or the shop now tab at the top of the page ...happy stampin xx Amanda
