Coffee and a ' Special reason" card

happy Monday Im back on track with coffee and a card my Monday regular slot ...I do love coffee and a card. So much so Im taking it on the road and starting classes ...watch this space for details.

Todays card I have to say turned out lovely, Im actually really pleased with it. I used the Special reason stamp set and co-ordinating Stylish Stems die. I think having the set really helps you make your projects have that edge for sure. This card is perfect for a special friend, birthday or indeed Mothers day.

I used minimal supplies and colours to show that anyone from a new joiner to a hardened Stampin' Up! addict can make cards equally as great. So here we used simply Sweet Sugar plumb, Whisper white and pear pizzazz. All complement each other perfectly.

Additions items used for decoration were lace doilies, from the falling in love suite, and succulent garden 3/8 " sweet sugar plumb ribbon. A singular metal rimmed pearl embellishes the centre of the two layered flower.
