Happy Monday crafters here we are again how fast does the weekend go ? hope you all had a good one. I relaxed lots and ate far too much .. nothing new. So back to work today with a stunning inked card. Anyone who follows my Youtube channel knows how totally obsessed I am with Inking. So much so my fingers are constantly stained. Heavens knows what people in the " outside" world must think, they must think I don't wash !
So I got to play again and my main colour today is Rich Razzleberry ..another fantastic name thought up by Stampin' Up! boffins where do they get them from but how fun. This is a real deep and opulent colour and used against the very vanilla just simply pops. I also used Rose Red which has a lovely pinkish vibrant tone giving a luxurious and warm tone..stunning. I used Rich Razzleberry card stock for the card base and layers on Sweet sugarplum card stock followed by Very Vanilla colours just good enough to eat. The edges of the layers were distressed with a blade to give extra texture and aid further the absorption of ink around the edge.
The stunning flourish stamp is from the falling flowers set. It gives such and amazing result nothing else is needed and keeping the colours to a minimum works. I have only used two inks here totally un complicated. The flourish is decorated with flowers from the petite Petals my all time favourite little set with matching stamp and punch.. Shaping the little flowers and inking in two shades with a darker colour brushed just on the tips gives an awesome effect which I liken to pansies.
Finished off with elegant pearls to the centre of each flower and you have a stunning card for any occasion. There is a Youtube tutorial to accompany the card so grab your cuppa , relax and enjoy . measurements are below and if you wish to purchase any of the items used catalogue and shop links are to the right >>>>> Happy Stamping, hugs x Amanda
card base :- 8 1/2" x 7" score at 4 1/4" .. consecutive layers measured at 1/4" smaller each time
This card is beautiful. Your videos are so fun to watch. Instruction and entertaining all at once. Win win. I happen to be a demo over here in the USA. I enjoy watching what other demos do. It gives me inspiration as I slowly build my business. Have a lovely rest of your weekend. I look forward to the next Tea and a Card.
