Todays project is my last of five Design team projects for Pootles paper craft. I have enjoyed the last five weeks immensely and I hope you have enjoyed the large aray of projects the whole team came up with using the Live Love Grow stamp set. I went for a different feel yet again this week but chose a simple colour scheme so it is easy to copy.
I went for a square card this time and the layers are also square and in the absence of a square die I hand cut these layers with a good old craft knife in increments of 1.5"... proving you don't need all fancy tools to create great projects. I used the off cuts from the centre of the layers as the centre piece and laid them in a diamond shape shadow formation. The main image comes from the Live love grow set and was stamped using Wisteria Wonder ink and then heat embossed with clear powder to give a glossy finish. I also used the mixed borders stamp set to enhance the card around the white border and then simple inside using the same colour ink and sponges. I think the effect is quite pretty.
I used Stampin' Up! whisper white and wisteria wonder card stock so it would be easy to co-ordinate the card. I do think that the five weeks of Design team projects have shown this stamp set at its best and highlighted the immense versatility of Stampin' Up! stamp sets and in turn shows what great value for money they are. I hope you enjoyed the Design team projects i was able to share with you and I hope I can get another chance to bring design team projects to you again .
