Again its time for coffee and a card. This blog post is to accompany my Youtube video I will leave a link below.
So I have been busy making customer thank you cards and needed to think of a fast and budget friendly process. I think the card I came up with fits the bill perfectly. It gives the illusion of the use of a lot of DSP while in fact only small amounts are use. Used in tandem with a simple and affordable stamp set and using a basic inking technique we can create pretty cards at low cost .
I uses the colour Dapper Denim , a stunning shade of blue which carries through from the ink to the DSP and the card stock all co-ordinating beautifully. The paper line is the Dapper denim shade from the In colour designer paper stack. The stamp set used is the Papillon Potpourri set a really stunning set to add to your collection . Here are the measurements used to create this card I do hope you will try it ... happy crafting , hugs x Amanda
Card base :- 11" x4" score at 5 1/2 " to fold and form card
2 x strips of DSP 5 1/2 " x 1"
1 piece of whisper white 2 1/2 " x 5 1/2" for front to stamp on
1 piece of whisper white 3 1/4" x 5" for the insert
