Now I have a mental block when it comes to purchasing specific male themed stamps... I am not sure why but I literally own NONE. So I had to think on my feet here. I did have SOME of the Classic Garage DSP from Stampin' Up! This paper is awesome fun to be fair and the colours are inspiring to use. So first I fussy cut some elements from the paper to use as embellishments and searched my stamp collection in the hope of finding a manly sentiment. I didn't need to look far Thoughtful banners stamp set has lots ..phew ! I was saved. And with the co-ordinating duo banner punch I was all set. I went for a simple z fold for my first card and also created a matching key ring gift.
My second card is fairly simple again fussy cut elements from the DSP are my main focus. The paper does all the work to be honest I simply layered it up and placed on a black card base to make those colours pop. The red and yellow band has faux stitching to look like road markings and is mounted on wide foam tape for dimension. Again the Thoughtful banners came to my rescue and I heat embossed with white onto black card. I reckon I passed the male card thing with flying colours.
I do have a video tutorial on how to make the Z fold card and a close up look at the second, plus I share how to make the key ring. So grab a warm cuppa, put up your feet and enjoy the video.
Happy stamping xx Amanda
