Shabby chic inspired card ...

I am a shabby chic girls a heart. Pretty shabby, floral chintzy I love it all. I have often heard shabby chic crafters say Stampin' Up! is not their style.... and this makes me sad. I created this to show that Stampin' Up! products don't have one specific style.... you create with them to your OWN style.

It is my mission to spread the notion that Stampin' Up! is NOT a style we provide amazing quality products that are great for any genre of crafting. Mixed media, Shabby chic, Vintage ... there is something for everyone.

Let not limit ourselves and our creativity by thinking we have to all create the SAME ..... create whatever comes into your head. That's what I do. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but hey .... there is no right or wrong in creating right !!!.

So if you ever thought Stampin' Up! wasn't for you or not your style .... take another look and you will find Stampin' Up! caters for everyone and anyone.

This card is a simple fold over design . Stat with a 12 x 12 sheet cut it to 12 x 4" and score at 4 and 8". Then take the two far panels and fold them inwards on the diagonal. If the card is thick you may need to trim a sliver off the under laying section so it closes nicely. Layer with DSP and cut a large tag to fit inside. I cut mine to 5 7/8" square, but this means it protrudes from the top. If you don't want that cut half an inch or so off the bottom. Layer with DSP and decorate as you please.

I Used Blossoming basket stamp set and various punches and the stitched shapes framelits. But you can use just about anything just use your imagination .

I hope this project will make you think ... and consider the endless possibilities of the beautiful products we carry. Check out the link to my Youtube video below to see this card in more detail...

Happy stamping xxxx Amanda
