Z fold New home card for Inspire, Create Challenge #001

I absolutely loved creating this card. I created it specially for the Inspire create challenge blog. This was the brain child of my lovely friend Hannah McCurley and I really didn't want to let her down with a "pants" card.

I created my first ever z fold card, which is a style I will use again now I know how. I used the challenge colours basic grey and calypso coral which I will admit I found  a challenge but once you think about it, and think about the different ways we can add colour to a card it becomes easy.

I used ink pads and markers along with aqua brushes to colour the houses. The stunning houses are fussy cut from the Just add colour DSP and the sentiment is stamped using Alphabet brush strokes. The lettering was ... fussy cut ... yes I actually cut each letter one by one .. and yes I must be mad. I added a brick work back ground in random spots using the embossing past and brick work stencil.

I have chosen not to leave measurements and product lists on this post rather I want the focus to be on Hannah's lovely shiny new blog .. So please just take a few minutes and click the link below and go show her some support. Check out the fantastic work of her design team and the other amazing contributions to this challenge. Be sure to click follow on the blog and follow along each time a new challenge is set. You won't be disappointed and its a great way to be inspired ...and get creating ...

happy stamping xxxx Amanda
