I am totally in love with this set. Even the name is divine ' a whole lot of lovely.' The entire suite is just stunning quite vintage and retro with a hint of shabby chic ...just stunning. And stunning products means stunning projects. So here I created a set... a matching gift bag and card set. The great thing is all the colours match perfectly so everything just simply works with absolutely no stress at all. I was able to create these very quickly as I didn't have to hunt for matching inks and then for them to not quite be the right shade .... THIS is why I love Stampin' Up! they make me look good ! I am not even that brilliant a crafter but their products make me look good and make me feel proud... Therefore I would argue Stampin' Up! is good for my well being and so I have to buy more it should be on prescription !
Joking apart stunning papers. I took one of the key colours pool party and used this as my focus to co-ordinate with . I used the whole lot of lovely DSP, lots of labels dies and layering leaves embossing folder. Pool part ink and yardstick matched beautifully with whisper white as the back ground.
There is a Youtube tutorial showing step by step what I did so you can recreate these two projects with ease. So grab a brew get comfy and watch the film... happy stamping xxx Amanda

Hi Amanda
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful set you have created...the perfect set to give to anyone and also a great set to package and sell !!!
Your comment on not putting the fussy cut oranges on dimensionals prompted me to write this. I know it's a lot more work but you could stick the dsp to cardstock and then cut it out...that way it would have support. I love this dsp and it will be on my order going in tomorrow.
Your saying 'more than one way to skin a cat' is one I used... and I lived in Cheshire before coming to live in Australia over 31 years ago !!!
I look forward to watching your videos...you come up with beautiful projects and make watching a joy...Please don't ever change...
Hugs
