festival of colour 7 boxed tissues...

Day 7 of my festival of colour ...I actually did it seven projects, blog posts and Youtube videos back to back to showcase the stunning 2017-2019 Stampin' Up! in colours. Wow I need a lie down was a week.

Today's project is again simple, the theory behind my madness is that the simple projects are easy for anyone to follow and more advanced crafters can step it up with their decoration. I also have added several boxes to the showcase with basic design to help you build up your repertoire as it were.

Today's project is a pocket tissue holder box finished dimensions are 4 1/2 x 2 /12 x 1" inch so a good size to use for other items too. I decorated keeping budget in mind with just a small strip of floral DSP and stamped using Delightful daisy choosing the large flower stamp , stamping and punching out two and then layering .

I didn't create a box for all five colours because if I'm honest ..I didn't have five packs of tissues in the house. Picture me frantically searching through our junk drawer in the kitchen and hollering at my family to hand over their tissues cos I KNOW I BOUGHT YOU ALL SOME !! like the demented crafter I am. So with sad resignation I made the one box and stamped and punched a daisy in each colour instead.

So teacher gifts, craft stalls, swaps, birthdays... you name it there is always a reason to make a pretty box. I do have a step by step Youtube video tutorial for you to follow along to so... grab a brew get comfy and take a peek ...... happy stamping xxxx Amanda
